Found! A solution to figuring out which cord goes to what electronic device.
I used these in the home office redesign project I have been working on and I was really happy with how they worked out. Purchase the pre-printed ones or blank ones and with a Sharpie (you could even use different Sharpie colors) write on it which device the cord belongs to. They are easy to fasten and you can place it at any point along a cord (on the surge protector or at the top of the cord if you have a few different USBs lying on your desk).
Other Uses: They have pre-printed ones for the home office, kitchen, tools, entertainment. Great for organizing a chaotic garage!
Gone are the days of crawling under the desk and tugging on each cord while peering above the desk to see which device almost tumbles off the desk. (Yes, from experience.)
