The Search for Floor Length Mirrors

On this Month's Agenda: Figure out a better solution for the full length mirror "situation".

Planning Points: Floor length mirrors seem to fall into these categories -- (1) Ornate + bulky or (2) Cheap + thin.

I bought one from Crate + Barrel several years ago when we were in New York. It has a chrome finish, stands straight up and has a hook on the back for a few dresses. But it has this base that is a little too large (probably necessary though given the weight of the mirror).

I've been looking for a better solution and just found two great solutions depending on your style. Don't get me wrong -- I actually love a beautiful antique mirror but unfortunately don't have the space for it now. If you did have a lot of space in a bedroom it would be a great way to use up some space in a decorative, functional way.

Over the Door Mirror from Pottery Barn (I love that there are so many room views for this! Click on the website to view an even larger image. I also love that there is no trim on this.)
