A Few Good Sale Items

Today's Agenda: The morning email round up. In my new non-lawyer life I've found I actually really enjoy routine. I eschewed routine in my previous life -- even trying to mix up how I got to work, which was completely unnecessary. So, I am in the midst of my morning routine -- wake up around 6, make coffee (ok, hit the start button because I have a fantastic husband that gets the coffee ready to go the night before), head upstairs to the loft and go through my emails, responding to the ones that are open, deleting unnecessary ones and browsing ones that may be interesting. Blog, work on a project. Then I'll hit the shower about 7:30 and get ready for the day.

In today's inbox was the sale flyer for West Elm. When West Elm has a sale, it is more than likely you can find a good deal, even for something you actually need and not just buying it because it's on sale. Take my $9.99 curtain panels. Or the $19.99 aqua lacquer jewelry box (still on line for $69.99!). Best bet though is to go to the store if you can. The prices are marked lower in the stores and they'll generally have some floor samples they are getting rid of. In DC, the store near Metro Center is great for that.

Here are a few deals online though. It's a fun time of the year to spruce up your home -- before the holiday craze and with some time left to enjoy the end of summer and the lure of early fall.
